LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant led Team USA to win their fifth straight gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. USA defeated Victor Wembanayama’s France at their home in the final of the Olympics basketball event. However, USA star Anthony Edwards later revealed that the USA trio, including him, Curry, and Durant, had to take a drug test.
In a shocking revelation during a seminar at Fanatics Fest, Durant and Edwards told “Boardroom” about their Paris Olympics 2024 post-victory celebration. Edwards said, “After the gold medal, me and him [Durant] had a, what you call it? A drug test.”
Edwards added, “We couldn’t really celebrate in the locker room for real because me, him (KD), and Steph had to take like a drug test or something.”

Stephen Curry was at his best, scoring 60 points over the last two matches at the Olympics. Curry scored 36 against Nikola Jokic’s Serbia in the semi-final, followed by a 24-point game against the hosts, France, in the final.
The Golden State Warriors guard scored four threes in the final three minutes in the USA’s 98-87 win against France. Curry finished the Paris Olympics 2024 averaging a team-best 14.8 points, followed by 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Besides Curry, LeBron James, who won his fourth Olympic medal (3 gold and 1 bronze), was also sensational at the Paris Olympics 2024. The Los Angeles Lakers star forward was named MVP of the men’s basketball event, a decision many, including Skip Bayless, felt was controversial.
With the Olympics finished and the 2024-25 NBA regular season schedule announced, NBA teams and players will look to return to the league at their best. All eyes will be on Stephen Curry and LeBron James when they face each other in the headline clash on Christmas Day.
