After helping the 2020 U.S. Olympic Men’s Basketball Team secure a gold medal in Tokyo, Devin Booker added another gold to his resume at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Throughout the 2024 Olympics, Booker’s performance was stunning enough to catch attention. Team USA coach Steve Kerr claimed Booker as the “unsung MVP.”
Anthony Edwards is the latest admirer of the Team USA star. During his appearance on “Fanatics Fest,” Edwards highlighted how Booker’s contributions were essential to their gold medal victory.
“Steph had great games, [KD] had great games, LeBron had great games, but [Devin Booker] was guarding the best player, turning down shots, cause Book can go for 70, not gonna lie, I was impressed watching him,” Edwards said.
In Team USA’s 98-87 win in the gold medal game, Booker added 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists against France.

“This experience was totally different from the first one. Not taking anything away from that, but the atmosphere—obviously Stephen, LeBron joining us—this experience is right up there with any other in my lifetime,” Booker said.
This Paris Olympic journey might be the first and possibly the last time Booker can team up with James and Curry. However, the 27-year-old is expected to participate in the 2028 Summer Olympics.
