After weeks of speculations, it is finally time for Shannon Jackson to speak up. Jackson, who went by the name Jeanine Robel on her Instagram account, is in a relationship with NBA star Anthony Edwards. In a recent controversy surrounding the Timberwolves star, Edwards is accused of having a baby with Ayesha Howard. Back in September, Howard filed a paternity suit against Edwards, confirming that he had fathered her child.
Now, such an allegation thrown towards a man in a relationship will surely affect his partner, and Shannon Jackson was expected to be no exception. Surprisingly, with the heartbreaking news coming in, Jackson remained unaffected. She apparently knew about the entire fiasco beforehand and thus did not mind Edwards getting involved with other women.
During her Instagram Live, Jackson was asked how she felt about the entire situation. Taking a bold stance, Edwards‘ current partner stated, “I’ll say this, Y’all just finding out. … You were saying that I was hurting on the inside or whatever the case, and I’m just. You gotta pick a side. … I’m not a wife.”
She went on to claim that as long as she’s taken care of financially, she doesn’t care what the haters have to say.
The mother of seven-month-old Aislynn, whom she has with Edwards, stated that her boyfriend might be enraged about her Instagram live. However, she did not care about Edwards’ dislikes at this point and also promised to come on live again in a month. In fact, Anthony Edwards also seems to be significantly bugged by the entire situation.
As per reports from the US Weekly, Edwards has asked his legal team to obtain a DNA test from Ayesha Howard. Interestingly, fans had a lot to say about Shannon Jackson’s reaction online.

‘My Mixtapez’ shared the recording of Jackson’s Instagram live. Fans soon flocked to the comment section, taking shots at Jackson’s unexpected reply. One fan wrote, “She all about the MONEYYYY.”
Another fan opined that with loads of money coming in, things would feel normal, just like Jackson. The comment read, “5 years, and $245,340,000 id be like this too shill.”
A third fan wrote, “Keep her!! She’s an dummy!”
Another fan mocked Jackson for choosing money and comfort over independence by saying, “I don’t have any respect for myself or an identity of my own, so my meal ticket is being a significant other to a famous athlete.
