There has been heavy rumors of Kyrie Irving signing with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason, which means D’Angelo Russell might be taking his talents elsewhere, and that might include right back to the team that traded him away.
Anthony Davis has yet to play a game for his new team, but he is already showing to be a good recruiter after social media saw that he was showing interest in Russell joining him and LeBron in L.A. by following him on Instagram.
Russell’s previous issues with former Lakers guard Nick Young was the main reason he was traded by Magic Johnson. Neither of the two are with the franchise any longer.
Russell is coming off a stellar 2018-19 campaign that saw the 23-year-old former lottery pick average 21.1 points and 7.0 assists while shooting 37 percent from distance.
