Although Davis only scored two points in the second quarter, he bounced back after halftime. He had another great showing in the third quarter, scoring 13 points to help the Lakers maintain their lead. By the end of the game, Davis had racked up an incredible 42 points and grabbed 23 rebounds, both of which were the best for him this season.
Although he was very efficient, hitting 17 of 28 shots and also helping out on defense with some blocks and assists, Davis’s performance was crucial for the team. The Lakers will need more such shows from the 31-year-old in the coming games.
