Andrew Bogut thinks he has a sure-fire way for Kevin Durant to get out of Brooklyn.
The Kevin Durant sage remains a hot topic around the league because he has requested a trade, and reiterated he wants out, yet there has been little to no movement since the Nets want an insane package of players and draft picks in return.
The Brooklyn Nets superstar has expressed his frustration with the direction of the team and even gave owner Joe Tsai an ultimatum: fire the head coach and general manager or find a trade partner for KD.
Former NBA big man Andrew Bogut suggested that Kevin Durant’s wish to be traded from the Brooklyn Nets could be quickly fulfilled by him simply tweeting a message of support about Hong Kong.
“An easy way for KD to get out of @joetsai1999’s @BrooklynNets that no NBA analyst is discussing.
A simple tweet: “Free Hong Kong, Free Taiwan”.
Gone the next day…..”

Tsai was born in Taiwan.
Former Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey did that in 2019 when he posted “Fight for Freedom, Stand with Hong Kong.” That message enraged Chinese leadership and forced the NBA into doing extensive damage control.
Durant is unlikely to go down that route, and it appears he may be playing at least next season as a member of the Nets.
