Amar’e Stoudemire wants to return back to the NBA.
He and Monte Ellis both held private workouts with many teams to show up to see if they still had something left in the tank that would warrant signing them to a contract.
Stoudemire certainly still has that fire inside him, because a random Instagram user really got under his skin.
On Friday, IG User the_leknicks posted an image of Stoudemire with a quote about him signing with the Knicks because of James Dolan. The IG User captioned it, “Of course you did, he was the only one willing to shell out $100 mil on you and your weak ass knees. FOH with this brainwashed propaganda bullshit” and tagged him in it.
Stoudemire saw the post and immediately jumped in the DMs of that user and went back and forth with the person trying to initiate a fight.

After retiring from the NBA in 2016, Amare Stoudemire went overseas to play for Hapoel Jerusalem, but things would quickly sour and he would retire in 2017. He then began to play in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league. During his last season in the league, Stoudemire averaged 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds for the Miami Heat during 2015-2016 season.
