The final game of Michael Jordan’s illustrious NBA career came in Philadelphia on April 16, 2003 when he was a member of the Washington Wizards. He was given a standing ovation by everybody in what was called the First Union Center at the time. That included Allen Iverson.

He says that he first got a chance to speak to his hero at the 1997 NBA All-Star Game.
“The first time I ever talked to him was playing in the Rookie Game. I’ll never forget cause he said, “What’s up you little bitch?” I’ll never forget it. I looked up and I was like, “Alright, man.”
I remember one time … I went to a Charlotte game, and [Jordan] was telling me that I told him how much he meant to me and how much I rocked with him. And he was like, “Man you don’t rock with me like that because you wouldn’t have crossed me like that [if you did].”

The Bulls would win a tightly-contested game 108-104 when the Bulls visited the 76ers after that all-star game, with Jordan scoring 23 points.
The only thing everyone remembers from that game is Jordan being crossed by Iverson.
