Earlier this week, La La Anthony had apparently had enough of being tied to Carmelo and filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” in courts documents. It appears it comes on the heels of the NBA star getting caught up in yet another cheating scandal after already overcoming one in 2019.
This time the mistress in question is claiming he’s the father of her premature twins and is allegedly doing everything he can to not be part of their lives.
The young lady even claimed to Hollywood Unlocked that La La’s best friend Kim Kardashian hired a private investigator to find out her identity.
“On top of dealing with the stress of Carmelo [allegedly] being an “absent father,” the woman detailed how stressed she‘s been after learning that La La Anthony’s best friend Kim Kardashian [allegedly] hired a private investigator to find out who she is. The woman alleged that Kim was able to obtain some information about her and shared what she knew with La La. It was said that Kim called La La hysterically crying when she delivered the news. Although the woman stressed to us that she wants no problems with the “POWER” actress, she fears Kim may try to do damage control and make her out to be the bad person in this situation.”
Kim Kardashian’s team heard the allegations and immediately responded to it.

“Now, we exclusively spoke with Tracy Romulus, the CMO of Kim Kardashian’s KKW Brands and she denies allegations that Kim Kardashian had any involvement in this or hired a private investigator for La La. However, Romulus shockingly admitted that she did hear about Carmelo’s alleged twins and acted on her own to reach out to a third party to get additional information. Romulus went on to adamantly voice that it was her own interest to get to the bottom of this and acted independently since she too is a good friend of La La — completely distancing Kim Kardashian from this entire situation.”
The pair reportedly split for several years, separating in April 2017, according to Us Weekly. The two got engaged in December 2004 and were married in July 2010. Their son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, was born on March 7, 2007.
The couple reconciled in December 2018, but clearly things never really got back on track.
The 37-year-old just completed his 18th season in the NBA and second with the Trail Blazers. In 69 games, he averaged 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 42.1% shooting and 40.9% from three. He is set to become a free agent this offseason.
