The Boston Celtics have ceased everything a team could have wished for this regular season. With their win against the OKC on Wednesday night at the TD Garden, the Celtics will end the regular season with the best record in the league (now 60-16). Having the best record in a regular season awards the team with the homecourt advantage for the entire playoffs, which means that the Road to NBA final will go through Boston.

It is great news for the Celtics and their fans as the franchise led by Jayson Tatum currently holds the best home record (33-3) as well. Now, the expectation among the fans is that their team shall bring the Championship home. If the Celtics can win the Championship this season, it would be their first league win since 2008. That year Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce led the franchise to a 66-16 record and won them their 17th title.

The Celtics dominated the OKC in their latest matchup and secured a blowout win against them. Kristapz Porzingis was the star of the night scoring 27 points, collecting 12 rebounds, and making five crucial blocks to help his team with a final score of 135-100. The franchise’s ace Jayson Ttaum also stepped up and delivered a great performance scoring 24 points.

Jalen Brown was also not far behind with 23 points and seven rebounds for the Celtics. Despite their best efforts, the OKC could not maintain a lead for a long time. The Celtics trailed behind only for 62 seconds and quickly took the lead back. Josh Giddey was the point leader of Oklahoma scoring 17 points in their blowout loss.
