The Boston Celtics took a 1-0 lead in the semifinals matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks in dominating fashion and many people thought this series was already over.
One of those people who thought that was Paul Pierce.
The former Boston Celtics legend took to live TV and boldly claimed that the series was already over, saying, “As a team, I don’t know where Milwaukee goes from here, I think it’s over”
Since that revelation, the Boston Celtics have not one a game and are now on the cusp of being eliminated.
