Jimmy Butler had an extraordinary year for the Philadelphia 76ers that almost culminated in an NBA Finals appearance.
The franchise was hoping he would return and run it back for another year and many more years to come. It wasn’t meant to be as Butler reportedly turned down their massive deal and took his talents to South Beach.
On Saturday, the team sent out a tweet thanking Butler for his time there, but messed up the spelling in his name and thanked “Jimmy Buter.”

Butler averaged 18.2 points with a 46.1 field-goal percentage, 33.8 percent from three while a member of the 76ers.
