After the Sixers’ embarrassingly bad loss to the Hawks in Game 5, Philly sports fans have officially turned on some of their players on the team.
While there was plenty of blame to go around, most of it is falling on two-thirds of the team’s Big Three failing to produce at all in a crucial game.
Somebody posted a ‘missing person’ flyer of Ben Simmons with a savage caption to took aim at him not being able to shoot free throws.
Heading into Wednesday night’s game, Simmons hit on just eight of his 25 free throw attempts in the second-round series against the Hawks. In total, he drained just 28-percent of his free throws as the Sixers dropped Game 5 with a 109-106 loss.
He wasn’t the only catching hell as Tobias Harris had a flyer of his own.

Before Game 5, Harris was averaging 23.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game on 53.8% FG / 40.0% 3P / 83.3% FT shooting splits.
On Wednesday night, he threw up 11 shots and only made two of them. He missed all three of his three-point attempts and never got to the line.
The team is going to need both of them to play well as they fight off elimination and try and get back to Philly for Game 7.
