The NBA announced the finalists for the individual awards, but the New York Knicks were not well-represented, as they were absent from seven significant prizes. Although head coach Tom Thibodeau was among the nominees for Coach of the Year, his eventual masterpiece was overshadowed by Mark Daigneault of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chris Finch of the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Jamahl Mosley of the Orlando Magic. However, Josh Hart has a different opinion on this decision.
This decision did not sit well with some players, including New York Knicks shooting guard Josh Hart, who quickly commented on Thibodeau’s absence and questioned the voters’ decision. The 2023-24 Award Finalists were announced on Sunday.
Josh Hart was outraged when he witnessed the controversial judgment. Josh Hart says that New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau deserves to be a Coach of the Year candidate.
“50 wins, 2nd seed with an injured roster for half the season and not a Coach Of The Year candidate….” Hart wrote in his post.
