ABC has ignited conspiracy theories after it aired what appeared to be official election results for a key swing state.
The apparent Presidential election results for Pennsylvania showed Kamala Harris easily winning the key swing state — more than a week before Election Day.
Many fans took to social media and showed the results they saw at the bottom of the screen during Sunday’s broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix by ABC local affiliate WNEP-TV, which services the northern part of the Keystone State.

As you can see, the results showed the Vice President capturing 52% of the votes, compared to 47% for Republican challenger Donald Trump, with 100% of the precincts reporting.

The Presidential election results popped up at the bottom of the screen during Sunday’s broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix.
Fans went nuts.
WNEP, who posted the results, eventually had to speak out about those Presidential election results.
“Test results for the upcoming November 5 general election mistakenly appeared on WNEP-TV early Sunday evening during a broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix.
Those numbers should not have appeared on the screen, and it was an error by WNEP that they did.
The numbers seen on the screen were randomly generated test results sent to news organizations to help them ensure their equipment is working properly before election night.
The station made it clear that the “numbers were not reflective of any actual vote count.”
