Kyle Larson likely just ended his own career and it wasn’t because of an accidental slip of the tongue.
The 27-year-old NASCAR driver used a racial slur on a live stream during a virtual race, which is less than one week after a second driver drew criticism for rage quitting while using the online racing platform to fill time during the coronavirus pandemic.
Larson was competing in an iRacing event over the weekend when he thought he lost communication on his headset. In an effort to check the microphone, he said, “You can’t hear me?”
He then followed that up by saying the n-word, and he definitely used the HARD R.
The comment was immediately met with shock from other drivers.
Anthony Alfredo: “Kyle, you’re talking to everyone, bud.”
Aaron MacEachern: “Yup, we heard that.”
Conor Daly: “Yikes!”
Justin Botelho: “Oh, damn! He did not just say that.”

To make matters worse, Larson is half Japanese and has previously spoke about how the NASCAR “Driver for Diversity” program helped him get to the big show.
Yikes.
