The F1 drone show was a spectacle that both F1 attendees and Vegas tourists could enjoy. The energy was immaculate, but not many people know what went into making that happen.
Formula 1 Las Vegas kicked off last weekend with an exciting race that tremendously tore through the Vegas strip. The finish line was met with an incredible surprise of 1,000 drones over Resorts World Las Vegas.
An impressive Formula 1 drone show lit up the Las Vegas sky as spinning cars were projected into the air in an impressive display that also featured the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.
There was one man controlling all of those drones. Just one and he showed how he did it while seated.
F1 champion Max Verstappen criticized the nature of the Las Vegas GP, describing it as “99 percent show, 1 percent sporting event.”
He would go on to win the Las Vegas Grand Prix in dramatic fashion on Sunday. The Dutchman has already won this year’s championship. He was forced to overcome a five-second time penalty during the race, as well as manage collisions.

As of the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Verstappen has had 53 victories, 31 pole positions, and 29 fastest laps. In addition to being the youngest Grand Prix winner, he holds several Formula One records, including the most wins in a season and the most consecutive wins.
