Based on social media reactions, there likely aren’t many people more excited about Donald Trump becoming the 47th president of the United States than former IndyCar driver Danica Patrick.
Very late on Friday night, Patrick took to Instagram to post a story of herself wearing a Make America Great Again hat with a simple “MAGA” caption.
Of course, if you have been following Patrick closely, you would know that a post like this was only a matter of time.
Quickly after Trump’s win, Patrick went to Instagram to make a victory post with a lengthy caption, revealing that she was at the president-elect’s election party.
She also relished the victory by posting some of her favorite photos throughout the last few weeks of campaigning.

“I realized that I campaigned in every swing state except for Michigan!!!! (Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin) I was suppose to speak at the last Trump rally in Grand Rapids but it was already midnight when we arrived in the Trump motorcade since I was on Trump Force 1 😳, and the boss went straight on stage. As he should. I know it took so many people to accomplish what we did, but he won every swing state…. and that feels pretty damn good!” Patrick wrote on Instagram. “The work is not done until we can wear or fly an American flag, say we want to make America great again, and say I LOVE THIS COUNTRY….. and have that make us American, not republican. 🇺🇸”
There is A Request For Danica Patrick To Lose Her Job
Because she supports Donald Trump, many on social media are calling for Patrick’s job as a Formula 1 commentator on Sky Sports and have even started a petition.
It’s fueled a lot of support and has over 20,000 signatures.
