The GEICO 500 is a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race held at the Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama and it got much more coverage this year because everything surrounding what happened with Bubba Wallace over the weekend.
On Sunday, somebody decided to put a noose in the garage stall of Bubba Wallace to send a message to him, but it clearly didn’t shake or rattle him.
On Monday, Wallace went out the next day and finished in 14th palce at the Geico 500 after fighting his way up from being in 24th.
After the race, Bubba sent a message to the person who left a noose in his garage the previous day:
It should be noted that Wallace did lead briefly during the race before falling back.

Before the race, fellow drivers pushed his No. 43 car to the front after the noose incident.
