In just over a week, NASCAR will host an All-Star Race that will be held on a Wednesday night in Thunder Valley at Bristol Motor Speedway.
On Tuesday morning, NASCAR revealed the current Top 10 in the Fan Vote for the All-Star Race, with the winner of the vote getting the final starting spot in the field should he not qualify for the All-Star Race by virtue of winning a race or winning a segment in the All-Star Open.
As you might know, the vote is being led by Bubba Wallace, with Clint Bowyer, Matt DiBenedetto, William Byron, and Corey LaJoie. Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, Timmy Hill, Aric Almirola, and Austin Dillon rounding out the Top 10.
Wallace’s popularity and notoriety has exploded over the past month after he helped NASCAR to ban confederate flags from being flown by fans at events. Things got crazy after an apparent noose was found in his garage stall that was investigated by the FBI who concluded that it was there since last year.
He gained even more attention this week when President Donald Trump took aim at him on Twitter over the noose situation. His classy reply has since went viral.
