The UFC 300 is set to go down next week on the April of thirteenth this weekend. The UFC has completed its three decades of existence last year. A lot has gone into building up the UFC and scaling it up to the heights it is at right now. UFC President Dana White knows what it took to make the UFC into a multi billion dollar conglomerate it is at the current moment. White touched up on the time when he took a stand for Joe Rogan in order to save his job.
Dana White and Joe Rogan have been working together since decades now. Rogan has been commentating octagon side since White took over the company.
Dana White backed up Joe Rogan
White must be preparing for possibly the biggest card in the UFC history next week. Dana White and Joe Rogan are staple in any major pay per view event in the company. Rogan and White have been close associates and friends since forever now. In an interview given to Lex Fridman White opened on the time when he risked his own job as UFC president to save Joe Rogan’s career. White said,
When you’re with me you’re with me. It’s a two-way street and it’s not a one-way street. I am not one of these guys that is going to roll over. It’s like going through Covid. I wasn’t going to lay any of these people. Some of these people have been with me for twenty years. We’re going to lay them off.
White made it clear that loyalty runs high in his blood. He makes sure to stand by the folks who were with him since the absolute start. Joe Rogan is the guy who worked for the UFC for absolutely free and even promoted the company on other platforms whenever he got the chance.
Apart from sharing a bald head the duo of White and Rogan share the love for the sport of mixed martial arts. Joe Rogan will once again be seen courtside at the UFC 300 card which is set to go down next week in the city of gambling and casinos. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when one of Joe Rogan or Dana White leave the company for good. Will the other man follow suit or not?
