Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway are set to lock horns later this weekend.
The MMA universe is counting the days until the highly anticipated event, UFC 300. The milestone event will be taking place later this weekend on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The card will be headlined by a UFC light heavyweight championship between Alex Pereira and former champion Jamahal Hill. Also on the card, a BMF title fight between Justin Gaethje and former featherweight champion Max Holloway has been scheduled.
Ahead of the fight, in this piece, we will take a look at which fighter will earn more money at UFC 300. While the confirmed purses for the fight have not been revealed, we can get an estimate by looking at their previous paydays.
It is believed that Justin Gaethje earned roughly $1.36 million from his last fight which was against Dustin Poirier. On the flip side, Max Holloway was last seen inside the octagon against Korean Zombie and reportedly earned around $1 million.
That said, it is safe to assume that both fighters will make upwards of $1 million for their fight at UFC 300 this weekend.

MMA pros predict Max Holloway vs Justin Gaethje
Ahead of the fight, a number of MMA pros have given their thoughts on the matchup. In a recently uploaded video on his YouTube channel, James Lynch asked 13 MMA fighters about their predictions for the UFC BMF title fight.
As one would expect, the common consensus is with Justin Gaethje securing a victory on Saturday night. 8 out of the 13 fighters predicted a victory for Gaethje.

That said, it is safe to say that people are backing Justin Gaethje to get the job done. However, Holloway should not be counted out.
