Dana White’s Potential Hosting of UFC 303 in Manchester, UK on July: Tom Aspinall’s React
During a conversation with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Tom Aspinall talked about his previous trip to New York City for UFC 295 and the back injury he sustained during training before the fight. Helwani also asked Aspinall about the possibility of Dana White hosting UFC 303 in Manchester, UK in July. Aspinall responded by saying that although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, he has heard rumours about the event taking place in Manchester. He said “I don’t think it’s confirmed but it’s Manchester but I have heard rumours that it is”
Aspinall also revealed that on The MMA Hour, the interim heavyweight champion expressed his disappointment at not being included in the significant UFC 300 event. He mentioned that although there were informal discussions about a potential matchup against Stipe Miocic for UFC 300, it was never officially confirmed. Aspinall indicated his willingness to face Miocic, but ultimately, Miocic’s preference was to fight Jon Jones instead.
While Aspinall voiced his disappointment about not being part of UFC 300, rumours persist about Dana White potentially hosting UFC 303 in Manchester, UK, in July. However, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Dana White himself, as only he can confirm the details of the event.
