UFC Vegas 89 saw a rather bizarre occurrence when Igor Severino bit Andre Lima during their bout. The two entered the octagon in a preliminary bout at the event and Lima somehow managed to frustrate Severino so much that he decided to bite him.
Severino was immediately disqualified from the fight and Lima emerged victorious. Moreover, Dana White revealed that he was initially going to give a $25k bonus to Lima for getting bit, he will now hand out $50 to him for getting the bite tattooed.
