the name Sean O’Malley needs no introduction to anyone who is even slightly aware of the UFC. The UFC bantamweight champion is currently one of the biggest stars in the promotion and is considered by many to be the next Conor McGregor.
Sean O’Malley is set to enter the octagon this weekend in an attempt to defend his UFC bantamweight championship for the first time. He will take on his former opponent Marlon Vera at UFC 299. Ahead of his fight, let’s take a look into his personal life and know more about his marriage with Danya Gonzalez who is a cosmetologist.
The UFC bantamweight superstar met his now wife Gonzalez when he was still a young man. While there is confirmed information about his age at the time, it is believed that he was no more than 20 when he met Gonzalez for the first time.
Interestingly, Sean O’Malley once revealed that Danya Gonzalez initially mistook him for a 15-year-old. The two gave birth to their daughter in 2020. As of now, they are in an open relationship. O’Malley revealed that he wanted to live and enjoy his own life that is why he took this decision.
However, it is only the UFC bantamweight fighter who is allowed to have other sexual partners. Giving a reason for the same, O’Malley revealed that this is so because he pays for everything. While their open relationship has seen their fair share of struggles, the two have managed to stick together.
