In an interview given to the famous Media house Entrepreneur, McGregor revealed why he did not want to endorse Whiskey brands on the Internet. McGregor said,
Something about simply endorsing an Irish whiskey didn’t feel right to me — I wanted to create my own.
The former champion clarified that he wanted to build his whiskey brand and be a part of something bigger. The Irishman wanted to explore his entrepreneurial self and start a liquor company. It was reported that Conor sold his stake in the liquor company Proper 12 and became the highest-paid athlete in the world—many thought after amassing a massive net worth of a few hundred million dollars.
McGregor is injured and will take on Michael Chandler on his return to the Octagon.
