A few men just enter and take over the UFC in spectacular fashion. Alex Pereira has won two titles at different weight divisions in his first nine fights in the company. Pereira last knocked out Jamahal Hill in the first round via his trademark left hook. It seems the two-division champion does not spare his sparring partners either.
Alex Pereira made it clear in the post-fight interview after UFC 300 that he wanted to be an active champion in the UFC. He never seems to be out of training camp, as he was spotted getting into a brutal sparring session that turned bloody.
Many are aware of the kind of power Pereira has. The Brazilian kickboxer has finished most of his opponents in the first round of their bouts. Recently, a clip circulated on social media, showing the kickboxer not taking it easy with one of his sparring partners in the octagon.
The picture shows the opponent bloodied. It seems like the kickboxing champ hit him with the power left hook, which caused the man to bleed profusely. One thing’s certain: Alex will not go easy on his next opponent in the cage, going by his training footage.
Anthony Smith Up for Any challenge From Alex Pereira
Light Heavyweight veteran Anthony Smith fought in the UFC 301 against a much younger opponent and choked him out in the first round. Alex Pereira made a heavy claim and called Smith’s style in the octagon “boring”. The former title challenger said,
If he wants to fight, box, kickbox, f*cking thumb wrestle, chess, checkers, halo on xbox. I don’t give a f*ck. Whatever he wants to do.

Smith is more than happy to compete with Alex in any realm of human endeavour. He just wants to beat the Brazilian. With a few more wins, Anthony Smith might soon find himself in a title fight in the octagon. Smith is a versatile fighter, but Pereira is a deadly kickboxer who has the potential to finish any fighter on the UFC roster.
