For those unaware, Lil Tjay aka, Tione Jayden Merritt is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is one of the most popular rappers in the industry with a whopping 9 million followers on Instagram and almost 16 million monthly listeners on the music streaming platform, Spotify.
Alex Pereira was recently seen sparring with the 22-year-old rapper and needless to say, this garnered some interesting reactions from fans. Moreover, what got fans talking the most was how Pereira acted to get knocked out by the rapper while light sparring.

Alex Pereira wants to fight at UFC 301 after UFC 300
Alex Pereira is set to return to action against Jamahal Hill next month at UFC 300. The pair will headline the company’s historic card as Pereira looks to defend his UFC light heavyweight championship against the former champion.
The UFC 300 event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 13. It is worth noting that the pair were expected to headline the UFC 301 card in Brazil but the promotion later postponed their title fight.
Surprisingly, Alex Pereira still wants to be a part of UFC 301. In a recent video uploaded to YouTube, ‘Poatan’ stated that he was preparing to face Hill at UFC 300. Moreover, he claimed that he would be available to face his next opponent at UFC 301, 21 days later, if he didn’t take too much damage. He said:
“First, I have to win this fight. I work with the reality. I can lose. I can win, either can happen. But I’m doing everything so I can leave with a victory… I can say to you guys, every fight I’ve done in the UFC, I had the conditions, the ability to do it.”

That said, it will be interesting to see if Alex Pereira can fulfil his wish after potentially defending his title at UFC 300.
