UFC welterweight Ian Garry’s wife Layla Machado has taken to social media to rant about Sean Strickland.
For those unaware, public sentiment towards the couple turned sharply after it was revealed that Layla Machado had written a book in 2012 called ‘How to Become a WAG’, with ‘WAG’ being U.K. tabloid short form for the ‘Wives And Girlfriends’ of sports stars.
Expressing his thoughts about the same, Sean Strickland accused her of being a scheming gold digger and master manipulator. As a result, Ian Garry and his wife have been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism and it looks like Layla has had enough.

Layla is firing back in a lengthy Instagram video breaking down what she says are the three biggest lies being told about her and the UFC welterweight. She has clarified everything related to her ex staying with the couple and Ian taking her surname. While clapping back at Sean Strickland, she said:
“Sean Strickland has been talking an awful lot about Ian Gary’s wife,” she said. “I’ve been called a sexual predator, a paedophile, an abuser all by the man who alleges he suffered that exact abuse as a child growing up.”

When is Ian Garry fighting next?
Ian Garry was last seen in action against Geoff Neal at UFC 298 back in February this year. On the night, Garry extended his undefeated record to 14-0.
Since then, there has been a lot of talk about his next opponent. Interestingly, it looks like Garry is eyeing a fight against Colby Covington. The two have been going back and forth online and are building up to a great fight potentially.
However, it is worth noting that nothing is certain as of yet and it remains to be seen if they actually get inside the octagon or if Ian Garry ends up fighting someone else later this year.
Regardless of who he fights Ian Garry is considered to be a future champion and certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
