Brittney Palmer, the celebrated former UFC octagon girl and artist, is once again viral for such an unfortunate moment.
Last year, Palmer attended the World MMA Awards, where she was named the Ringcard Girl of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.
Before she could even get to her speech, she had a massive screwup. The blue dress she wore for the night completely split in the back, exposing her undergarments.
Palmer shared the video this week while writing, “Let’s talk about the “blue dress.” 🌟 I was super nervous at the awards last year and didn’t use the restroom until we were at dinner. When I finally went, my dress split all the way up the back! 😳 Thank goodness it didn’t happen before my speech. Definitely a night to remember! 😂💙”
That night was significant for Brittney Palmer, as she announced her retirement while accepting the Ringcard Girl of the Year award.
“Well, there’s no better time to say it. But after 16 years with UFC, I’ve decided to retire,” Palmer said while on stage at the Sahara Theatre in Las Vegas.

Palmer went on to thank the UFC, White, and the fans “for this incredible honor.”
Here is how social media reacted to her busting out of her dress:
“That looks like the next fashion mega hit. Fellas…what you think?,” one fan stated.
“My goodness she won an award and the fans won an award,” another X user stated.
On overly freaky fan added: “I can’t smell this video. But I’d like to.”
One fan smelled something fishy going on, “Of course, it did, hahahah all accidents, and all of a sudden 500m viral views:)) Smart woman.”
“OMG…🔥🔥😯😯😯😯,” one excited person wrote.
One final added: “Congratulations. She just went from Octagon Girl Of The Year to Octagon Girl of the Century.”

Brittney Palmer Explains Decision to Retire From UFC
After 16 years as an award-winning Octagon Girl for UFC, UFC ambassador Brittney Palmer announced her retirement in December 2023.
Palmer, arguably the most famous octagon girl in the UFC, won the World MMA Award for Ringcard Girl of the Year six times.
Her last event was UFC 296 in Las Vegas, headlined by Colby Covington.
With her decision to retire, Palmer said, “I’m 36 years old. I always said that once my art career started to level up to where my UFC career is and I wasn’t able to commit to both evenly, that I would have to make the decision. It was just time. You feel it.”
“… When I found out I won Ring Girl of the Year, I was actually in New York City working that event. All of a sudden, I was like, ‘You know what? Wouldn’t it just be epic if I could use this opportunity, where I have the mic, to retire.’ We don’t really get too much of a voice, so to have that opportunity I thought was just a great way to settle out the year and my career with UFC – and yeah, I did it.”
Money is not an issue for Palmer as she has multiple revenue streams outside of fighting.
Brittney Palmer is an accomplished contemporary artist and model. She has also worked artistically for the UFC and Topps trading cards, among other organizations.
