YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul delivered an outstanding performance by stopping BKFC star Mike Perry in their recent boxing match. The bare-knuckle boxer struggled to stay on his feet throughout the fight, prompting the referee to stop the bout in the sixth round, declaring Paul the winner via TKO. However, ‘The Problem Child’ didn’t stop there. In the post-fight interview, he called out Mike Tyson and UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for a boxing match.
Paul was dominant throughout the fight against Perry, continuing his trend of defeating MMA opponents. After winning, he quickly focused on his next challenge – a November 15 showdown with boxing legend Mike Tyson. In the post-fight interview, he urged the 58-year-old to sign the contract.
Additionally, ‘The Problem Child’ called out Alex Pereira during the ring interview, saying, “Alex Pereira, you say you want to box, I’m the king of this. I’m the king of this. Come over. We can make it happen. I want you, Alex Pereira. … I just beat a BKFC champion. I’ve beat multiple UFC champions. He said he wants to box. So Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen.”
As he mentioned in his interview, Paul’s focus is currently on his upcoming fight with Mike Tyson. The exhibition bout between ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘Iron Mike’ has been rescheduled for Friday, November 15, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight had to be postponed from its original July date after Tyson experienced a medical emergency in May. Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, cited a flare-up of a stomach ulcer, which forced him to reduce his training to recover.
Additionally, Paul calling out Alex Pereira for a boxing match is certainly a prospect that might have put the fans on the edge of their seats. If this matchup happens, it will most likely break records, especially given Pereira’s background as a former middleweight champion in the Glory of Kickboxing organization.

Right after Paul’s call-out, the Brazilian fighter quickly accepted the challenge, video-calling the 27-year-old while he was still in the ring. Pereira posted the video on Instagram, captioning it, “Let’s go!! Chama.”

However, the Brazilian is still under contract with the UFC, which reduces the chances of a fight with Paul. Although the agreement binds him, it is still possible that UFC President Dana White might approve the potential bout. So, only time can tell if this matchup will become a reality.
