Mike Perry took social distancing to another level while out in public.
The UFC star recently posted a video of himself on Instagram punching a man in the face who was harrasing him on the streets.
“He’d actually just punched me in the mouth,” Perry explained in his own little version of Inside the Octagon or Morning Kombat: Dissected. “I created space, he followed with his fists balled. As I stepped into position around the girl he either flinched or got distracted from what his drunk ass was doing which was harassing me. He wouldn’t stop so I ended it. I threw the jab/hook split seconds before he looked to the left. I could’ve continued to ground and pound him to death but walked away and spoke to the police.”
“Please believe you play with fire you’re gonna get burned. If you can mind your space and social distance yourself from my personal bubble (then) anything can be resolved through conversation,” he concluded. “Check yo’ selves.
As far as his career inside the octagon, Perry has had back-to-back losses to Geoff Neal and Vicente Luque. His last victory, before the KO against the drunk man, came by way of a unanimous decision over Alex Oliveira in April.
