Jorge Masvidal is not happy with what just happened with Donald Trump this week.
The FBI executed a search warrant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Florida as three sources told CNN it was because of documents the former president may have improperly taken there. Back in February, the National Archives asked the DOJ to investigate whether or not Trump broke the law by taking government records from the White House to his Florida residence.
Jorge Masvidal took to social media to chime in on the recent raid and he was not happy about it. Masvidal, a noted Trump supporter, hopped on Twitter to say it was a “sad day in the USA” in light of the development.
The UFC superstar also went as far as comparing the United States to authoritarian countries Venezuela and Cuba.
“Sad day in the USA today. These are the tactics of Cuba and Venezuela. No matter what side of the aisle you are on, this ain’t right”
“I remember always hearing about how China would censor and arrest their political dissidents,” the former UFC contender and jiu jitsu specialist Jake Shields tweeted. “Sound familiar?”

Shields further called for the FBI to be defunded.
Shields also said: “I’m not a huge trump fan but the FBI and big tech’s reaction to him and his supporters shows he’s a threat to the ruling class.”
It’s no secret that Jorge Masvidal has strong ties to Donald Trump and his family. The 45th U.S. president’s son, Donald Jr., revealed that he’s good friends with the UFC welterweight star.
