The UFC has had a successful 2024 with impressive PPV events, with the year’s highlight being the stacked UFC 300. The promotion’s recent PPV event was UFC 303 International Fight Week PPV. Next up for the promotion is UFC 304 in London, featuring the likes of Leon Edwards, Tom Aspinall, Arnold Allen, Paddy Pimblett, Muhammad Mokaev, and others.
Half of the fighters on the main card are English, and most are betting favorites. However, some fight fans felt the PPV would witness fraud check moments for Aspinall, Pimblett, and Mokaev. Many disagreed with this assumption, including a certain former UFC champion currently in the pound-for-pound rankings.
Aljamain Sterling Stands by UK Fighters Ahead of UFC 304
‘The Funk Master’ Aljamain Sterling often engages with fight fans on social media, particularly in Q&A sessions on X, formerly Twitter. In a recent engagement on X, the 34-year-old disagreed with the fraud check prediction for the British stars at UFC 304 and explained why he thought so.
“These guys are all pretty good bro. Fraud check has already been shot down. These guys are all fighting high level guys next. Unless they get completely schooled, then I don’t think the phrase applies here,” Sterling tweeted, backing Aspinall, Pimblett, and Mokaev.
Even though Leon Edwards headlines the PPV, Tom Aspinall, Paddy Pimblett, and Muhammad Mokaev appear to have a bigger fan base. Many even predict the heavyweight and flyweight will be undisputed UFC champions in the future.
Moreover, despite having accomplishments inferior to those of Aspinall and Mokaev in the UFC, Pimblett might be the biggest star in the PPV card. With his charismatic persona and accent, ‘The Baddy’ has created a huge worldwide fanbase.

At UFC 304, Aspinall will fight in the co-main event against Curtis Blaydes, defending his interim heavyweight title. Like the UFC 304 main event, the co-main is a rematch. The pair had fought some time back, with Blaydes winning via TKO after the Brit injured his knee
Mokaev will take on Manel Kape in a potential number-one contender flyweight fight. Pimblett’s opponent is Bobby Green, who recently changed his name to King Green. Unlike the other Brits on the main card, the 29-year-old is a betting underdog.
