Featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell has not fought since the devastating knockout loss to Josh Emmett at UFC 294. However, that has not stopped the Arkansas native from staying out of the headlines. Mitchell’s recent remarks about Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO, have created controversy.
‘Thug Nasty’ has been vocal about his beliefs in various conspiracy theories, ranging from ‘Flat Earth’ to ‘Fake Moon Landing’ to ‘9/11 Inside Job.’ Surprisingly, the 13th-ranked featherweight contender has now turned his attention to Musk, citing the Tesla CEO as a biblical antagonist.
“I think that Elon Musk could possibly be the false prophet who presents the mark of the beast to the world and the Antichrist on the world stage,” Mitchell said on the PBD podcast, admitting he very well could be wrong about his assumption.
The 29-year-old quoted the First Revelation, which described a false prophet as someone who would deceive with fire from the sky, comparing it to Musk’s SpaceX program. Secondly, Thug Nasty described Musk’s Neuralink as the mark of the beast mentioned in the Bible.
Bryce Mitchell Offers to Train Ryan Garcia for UFC Debut
Ryan Garcia is currently serving a one-year suspension for a doping violation. As a result, the New York State Athletic Commission overturned Garcia’s win over Devin Haney to a no-contest. In this scenario, ‘King Ry’ expressed his interest in fighting in MMA for the UFC.
Like Garcia, Mitchell is a devout Christian. When the former WBC interim lightweight champion expressed his interest in MMA, the UFC featherweight offered to train the boxer. Thug Nasty urged the boxer to train with him through an Instagram video.
“Hey, I heard Ryan Garcia was looking to train wrestling and needs somebody to coach him. I’m the guy. Let me tell you, I have the best ground game in the UFC. I’m in your weight class, brother. We can box, wrestle, grapple, all of it. Come over to the farm, hang out, and we’ll eat steak and train. Just let me know. I’ll take you fishing, whatever, dude. We’ll have a really good time,” Mitchell said.

The UFC featherweight promised the 25-year-old that he would teach him defensive wrestling maneuvers and submission techniques. In return, Mitchell expressed his willingness to learn boxing from Ryan Garcia.
