UFC will host its first-ever Fight Night event in Saudi Arabia in 2025, featuring Shara Magomedov in the co-main event against Michael ‘Venom’ Page. Since making his UFC debut in 2023, Magomedov has been taking the promotion by storm. He’ll return to the octagon in Riyadh this weekend, where ‘Bullet’ opens up about his UFC plans and more.
In a recent interview, Shara Magomedov reflected on his past experience in Saudi Arabia, where he had difficulty breathing but now feels fine. He’s excited to face Michael ‘Venom’ Page but expects Page to rely on wrestling. The UFC anticipates a thrilling matchup as two of its most entertaining fighters prepare to face each other in the upcoming fight. Magomedov views the fight as a significant milestone and plans to focus on health and family afterward.
Magomedov spoke highly of the Nurmagomedov family, particularly Abdulmanap, and shared how he learned discipline from them. He intends to better organize his training camps moving forward. Additionally, he values his brief encounter with Khabib, who warned him about the danger Page presents. Magomedov is looking to hire a coach who can personalize his training, believing he hasn’t yet reached his full potential.
