King Green, formerly known as Bobby Green, is a 24-fight UFC veteran, and he is not happy with Paddy Pimblett’s quick rise to fame. As UFC 304 approaches, Green isn’t mincing words about his upcoming opponent. He’s painting a stark contrast between their journeys to the octagon and their careers over the years.
Green considers himself a hardened warrior who has forged his skills through countless battles over 12 long years. On the other hand, Green dismisses Pimblett as nothing more than a ‘spoiled kid.’ In the UFC 304 pre-fight media day presser, Green said (as quoted by MMA Junkie),
“I call him the spoiled kid. Certain kids that don’t know you got the whole house. Everything’s been built around you…He doesn’t realize the UFC is working with him every opportunity. They’re building you. I had to earn it. They had to put me through the fire, forged by fire. You, they built you, and there’s a difference between us two.”
King Green’s frustration stemmed from what he perceived as preferential treatment for Pimblett. He even pointed out that Paddy Pimblett received custom shorts, but he didn’t. This was enough evidence for Green to support the UFC’s favoritism toward the Brit.
The two have been going back and forth with each other for quite some time now, each verbally jabbing the other. Both Green and Pimblett have won their last fights and are looking to extend their win streak this weekend.
Paddy Pimblett Reveals Plans To Knockout King Green at UFC 304
Trash talk is a common occurrence in MMA, but UFC 304 fighter Pimblett is taking it to a whole new level. The Liverpool native has his sights set on King Green at UFC 304. And he’s not just predicting a win – he’s forecasting a knockout.
Pimblett labeled Green an “egomaniac” and a “fake Tupac.” The Brit revealed that he does not like the American fighter’s cockiness and fake persona.

“Yeah, Bobby talks a lot of s**t. He’s an egomaniac. He talks about me being cocky and he’s one of the most cocky fighters I’ve ever seen in my life. He’s not going to have a chance to do that against me because when I f**king hit him on the chin, he’s going down. So, Bobby, come be cocky all you want, lad. I’m just going to show everyone he’s a f**king fake Tupac with all his fake chains.” Pimblett stated via UFC 304 Embedded.
Pimblett’s knockout prediction isn’t just bravado. He believes he has spotted a weakness and will surely exploit it. ‘Baddy’ believed Green might be prone to getting knocked out after his fight with Jalin Turner.
Fight fans would love to see these fighters slug it out on the main card of UFC 304. The question remains whether Pimblett would stay true to his word and keep the fight standing or if it would be too much for him and he would take the fight to the ground. Well, that’s a question for July 27!
