Appearing in an episode of First Take recently, White was asked about the one match he wants to see the most.
“It would be Aspinall vs Jones… what my job is, is to give the fans what they want. That’s what the fans want,” replied White. Now, this was a statement of utter significance.

For the last few months, there have been a lot of uncertainties regarding the UFC heavyweight division. Jones has stated earlier that 2025 will be his final year in the UFC. Thus, with the champion retiring, there is a possibility of a void being created at the top. On the contrary, Aspinall has been waiting as the interim heavyweight champion for a long time. Thus, if a fight does happen, it will be one of the biggest bouts of 2025. However, in order to make the match official, Dana White might have to dish out a few extra bucks.
