The fight is never about the hands; it’s about the head and the heart. There are many examples of fighters who have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to achieve the unthinkable. These fighters often have a deep inner strength and resilience that allows them to persevere in the face of adversity. Michael Bisping is the perfect example of that. Meanwhile, as a one-armed fighter gains traction online, the former UFC champ wasted no time showing his respect and admiration.
The combat sports world is full of inspiring stories, and Marney Maxx just added another to the list. His stunning KO on Friday at Shooto has become the latest moment to captivate fans online. On X, Happy Punch shared a video of Maxx, the Brazilian MMA fighter with one fully developed arm, pulling off a spectacular KO against Esterferson Da Silva. The highlight-worthy finish, for obvious reasons, is the talk of the internet.
Likewise, Michael Bisping, who fought his entire career with just one functional eye and became a UFC champion, took to X after the viral video to share his thoughts. He praised Maxx for his incredible win, emphasizing that it doesn’t matter if a fighter has “one eye or one arm”—determination always shines through.
One eye. One arm, it doesn’t matter. Well done to Marney Maxx. https://t.co/Gy25CGv5A2

Bisping has inspired many fighters in the UFC, including Shara Magomedov, who has openly praised him. Maxx, motivated by Bisping’s words, will likely come back even stronger and make a powerful statement in his next fight.
Michael Bisping Wants Muhammad Mokaev To Fight Against Alexandre Pantoja
Recently, Bisping joined a YouTube livestream on his channel, answering fan questions. When asked if Mokaev should be brought back to the UFC, Bisping admitted he wasn’t fond of Mokaev’s actions outside the octagon, particularly the altercation with Kape. However, he showed sympathy for him and expressed a desire to see Mokaev face Pantoja in the future.
“I’d like to see it… apparently there was other stuff going on. Regardless, he is a young man… Hopefully, hopefully, he comes back to the UFC. I would like to see him against Pantoja,” he said.
