Conor McGregor has been involved in some of the biggest fights in both UFC and boxing. Despite not being a full-time boxer, the UFC star earned the highest payday of his career in a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather. Meanwhile, fans continue to speculate about McGregor’s return to the UFC. However, rumors suggest that ‘The Notorious’ might step back into the boxing ring instead of the Octagon, with a potential fight against Logan Paul generating buzz.
McGregor recently discussed the possibility of a boxing match with Logan Paul during his visit to India, where he also talked about conversations with the Ambani family. However, retired UFC welterweight Matt Brown wasn’t surprised by the news, as he has long been skeptical about McGregor returning to MMA.
On the latest episode of The Fighter vs. The Writer on MMA Fighting, Brown commented on the likelihood of McGregor fighting Logan Paul. He also pointed out that McGregor could earn so much money from such a fight that he wouldn’t need to return to the UFC to face opponents like Islam Makhachev, Dustin Poirier, or others.
“Does he fight Logan Paul? That’s a good question. I don’t know. I’m going to say I don’t know. There’s so much money to be made doing a Logan Paul fight. Of course, he would do that. he doesn’t have to come back and fight a f*cking Islam [makhachev] or something or Dustin Poirier or [Nate] Diaz or anything. he’s just going and boxing a guy who is not a pro boxer.”

McGregor’s return to the UFC remains uncertain, though he was previously scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303. While fans eagerly await his comeback to the Octagon, a potential boxing return is equally likely to generate significant buzz.
Ben Askren On Why Conor McGregor May Never Return To The UFC
McGregor has been hinting at a comeback, but fans are losing hope of seeing him in the Octagon again. Former UFC fighter Ben Askren recently shared why he believes McGregor will never fight Michael Chandler. According to Askren, McGregor’s extravagant lifestyle, frequent partying, and rare appearances at training camps are the main obstacles. In a video, Askren said:

“It’s pretty obvious to me that Conor McGregor is an addict. And he is rich enough that it doesn’t really have a hugely negative impact on his life. Everyone kind of lets him do what he wants to do, but this guy clearly is out partying and can’t show up for training camp. There’s videos of him partying constantly.”
Askren highlighted that McGregor’s lavish lifestyle remains unaffected by not fighting. Fans, however, still hope for his UFC return. A toe injury forced him to pull out of his scheduled fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303. Rumors now suggest a potential boxing match with Logan Paul, awaiting official confirmation.
