Brendan Allen vs Chris Curtis In UFC Vegas 90
Originally Brendan Allen was supposed to take on the wrestler Marvin Vettori in the five-round bout. Chris Curtis being the stud he is took the fight without asking any questions or creating any chaos. This is the second time the duo are meeting in the middle of the octagon. But since losing to Curtis back in 2021 Allen has racked up an impressive six consecutive wins with five of those coming from submission.
For three of the five submissions he has won performance of the night accolade in rather impressive fashion. Unlike Vettori and Allen, Chris Curtis doesn’t like to be on the mat and grapple. Curtis will be testing the standup of Allen as Brendan tries to take Curtis down. Chris Curtis has never tried to take anyone down in his nine UFC fights.
Brendan Allen is a submission expert but he is not a traditional striker. Allen might not have fared well against Curtis previously but since Chris is stepping in on short notice, Brendan Allen is the absolute favorite to win this scrap at UFC Vegas 90.
