Along with these highly anticipated bouts, the event will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and include Karl Williams vs. Justin Tafa and Edmen Shahbazyan vs. A.J. This weekend at UFC Vegas 89, the UFC will provide its combatants with $128,000 in incentive compensation.
Venum, the UFC’s apparel sponsor, is responsible for producing the incentive pay, which is distributed to the fighters in tiers determined by their length of service with the organization. Zuffa-era WEC bouts from January 2007 onward and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts from April 2011 onward are included in this term.
Individuals who have fought in three or fewer UFC/Zuffa professional bouts will receive $4,000; four to five fights will pay $4,500; six to ten bouts will pay $6,000; eleven to fifteen fights will pay $11,000; sixteen to twenty bouts will pay $16,000; and twenty-one fights or more will pay $21,000. In the meantime, $32,000 is awarded to title challengers and $42,000 to champions.
