The UFC returned to its apex facility last night with the UFC Vegas 89. The event was headlined by a women’s strawweight fight between Rose Namajunas and Amanda Ribas. While Namajunas secured a unanimous decision victory, there were a number of fighters securing stoppage victories on the night.
That said, in this piece we will take a look at all the fighters who secured knockouts and finishes on the night. In the main card, four of the six fights ended in finishes. The main card was kicked off by Fernando Padilla vs Luis Pajuelo. The fight ended in the very first round and Padilla secured a submission victory.
In the second fight of the main card, Youssef Zalal defeated Billy Quarantillo by submission in the second round. This was followed by Payton Talbott’s TKO victory over Cameron Saaiman in the second round. Later, Edmen Shahbazyan defeated AJ Dobson via TKO in the very first round at UFC Vegas 89.
In the prelims card, Julian Erosa defeated Ricardo Ramos by submission. Moreover, in a rather interesting occurrence, Andre Lima defeated Igor Severino by disqualification after Severino bit Lima.

How much money did Rose Namajunas make at UFC Vegas 89 by beating Amanda Ribas?
As mentioned earlier, UFC Vegas 89 was headlined by Rose Namajunas and Amanda Ribas. Coming off a defeat in her last outing inside the octagon, Namajunas was motivated to come back to the winning column.
She did exactly that as she put on a clinical performance and took control of the fight from the star. After going toe-to-toe for five rounds, Namajunas secured a unanimous decision victory over Ribas.
In the process, it is believed that Rose Namajunas made somewhere round her base pay of $100,000 from her victory over Amanda Ribas at UFC Vegas 89.
