UFC Vegas 87 served us with one of the best knockouts in recent times. In the preliminary card of the event, Vinicius Oliveira took on Benardo Sopaj. Ahead of the fight, the latter had promised Oliveira that he was going to knock him out.
However, things turned out to be quite different. Benardo Sopaj started off the fight strongly and was besting Vinicius Oliveira. With just seconds remaining in the fight, Oliveira closed the deal with a flying knee that went straight to his opponent’s jaw, knocking him out cold.
Vinicius Oliveira also ended up receiving a $50k bonus from the UFC for his brutal finish. Moreover, the UFC president Dana White was quick to hype up the insane knockout on his social media. White took to X to post a clip of the knockout from UFC Vegas 87 and said:
