Tracy Cortez is on a hiatus from the UFC and appears to be living her best life as she enjoys the break.
Cortez, 29, ranks No. 13 in the UFC women’s flyweight division but was pulled from her fight against Amanda Ribas by the Florida Athletic Commission last minute in December. The reason for the decision remains unknown.
The mixed martial artist explained via social media that she was not responsible for the fight not taking place and had worked very hard for it. She claims to have been surprised to learn that she couldn’t be cleared to compete.
Tracy, whose family is Mexican, was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up with three brothers, one of whom inspired her to take up MMA. She began training at the age of 14 after watching her eldest brother Jose go head-to-head against former UFC fighter Drew Fickett in 2008.
The flyweight fighter is now enjoying some rest and relaxation, setting the internet on fire while she’s at it as she’s posted some racy beach content that’s gone viral. You could check it out right below:
