It appears that UFC stars are now treading a similar path to WWE legends like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena. This year, we saw Conor McGregor, MMA’s biggest star, make his Hollywood debut. Now, it looks like another champion is about to step into the spotlight. Alex Pereira, the leading contender for Fighter of the Year, recently suggested he’s gearing up for his own acting debut, hinting that he’ll soon appear in a Terminator-inspired film.
In a recent interview, Brazilian superstar Alex Pereira shared details about an upcoming project outside of the UFC—a movie role. Pereira revealed that he’ll be filming continuously for six weeks, wrapping up by January 2025. While details are scarce, he hinted that the film will have a Terminator-like vibe, with his character delivering only one line: his iconic phrase, “Chama.”
“I’ll record the movie there for six weeks; I’m going until January. I will act, but I’d like to do something where I won’t need to talk. It’s going to be like the Terminator that the guy only says one word at the end. I’ll do the whole movie without speaking, and in the end, I will say, Chama,” Pereira stated.
For those unfamiliar, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in the iconic Terminator movie spoke just 17 lines, totaling fewer than 100 words, with “I’ll be back” becoming legendary. Similarly, though Pereira hasn’t shared full details about his upcoming film, he did reveal his character’s only line will be “Chama.” It’ll be interesting to see how he brings this role to life on screen.
Magomed Ankalaev Vows To Stop Alex Pereira
The Brazilian UFC champion has been an unstoppable force, achieving what many fighters fail to do even after years in the sport. In just 10 fights, he’s secured the light heavyweight championship. However, Ankalaev has been calling him out, accusing him of avoiding a matchup and insisting on a fight.
Meanwhile, the Russian fighter confidently declares that he plans to defeat Pereira and promises to grant him an immediate rematch, believing Pereira deserves that opportunity the most. He’s committed to stopping Pereira back-to-back, showing his determination to prove himself in the octagon.

Given he’s already showcased his ability to dominate top-tier strikers. Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Pereira can maintain his striking dominance when faced with a formidable grappler like Ankalaev.
