Dan Hooker Teases Fan-Favorite Showdown Against Charles Oliveira At UFC 305
In a recent interview with ‘Main Event,’ on YouTube, Alexander Volkanovski and Dan Hooker discussed insider insights into MMA, including Robert Whittaker’s impressive victory at UFC Saudi Arabia. They also addressed Volkanovski’s upcoming fight plans and Dan Hooker’s mention of Charles Oliveira.
This isn’t the first time Hooker has let slip some insider information. Previously, he was the first to reveal the Adesanya vs. Du Plessis fight. He also mentioned that Kai Kara-France would be fighting at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia, which is why he also wants to be on the card.
During the interview, Hooker discussed his potential bout against former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, stating, “Arms and body at 100% everything’s all clear, I’m training I’m training hard training 100% I’m in camp um getting ready for, getting ready for Perth, no I’m not sure I can really say.” He also added, “Nothing official but obviously I’m 100% in and the an the old Charles Ovliera that uh I think that’s that’s the fight that the fans over here in the side of world would love to see.”
Charles Oliveira recently suffered a loss to Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300. In contrast, Dan Hooker’s last fight was at UFC 290, where he secured a hard-fought split decision victory over Jalin Turner. Hooker faced injury during that bout and subsequently took a break. But now he is fully healed and eager to return to the octagon. Although the fight has not been officially confirmed, he is targeting a matchup against Charles Oliveira at UFC 305. Hooker has expressed interest in this potential bout, and fans are eagerly anticipating his return to action.
