The card’s main event is a heavyweight fight between Derrick Lewis and Rodrigo Nascimento. The co-main event is a welterweight fight between Joaquin Buckley and Nursulton Ruziboev.

Lewis (27-12 MMA, 18-10 UFC) has seen a sharp decrease in performance after his abortive run for the UFC interim heavyweight title. Lewis, 39, has gone 2-4 since losing the fight to Ciryl Gane by third-round TKO in August 2021.
He had once lost three straight fights to Tai Tuivasa, Sergei Pavlovich, and Serghei Spivac. Following a unanimous decision loss to Jailton Almeida in a five-round main event in November last year, Lewis returned to the winning side with a first-round victory over Marcos Rogerio de Lima in 33 seconds.
When it comes to his success after signing a UFC deal through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019, Nascimento (11-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is unbeaten. The 31-year-old Brazilian is riding a three-fight winning streak.
In November last year, he defeated Don’Tale Mayes twice after winning back-to-back split decisions over Tanner Boser and Ilir Latifi.

Fight week is approaching, and according to DraftKings, Nascimento is only a minor -145 favourite, while Lewis is a modest +114 underdog.
