The middleweight division has become the new lightweight division in terms of fierce competition and star power, featuring names like Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland, and more. Shara Magomedov has emerged as one of the most hyped superstars, maintaining an undefeated record while dominating the competition this year. Now, it looks like he’s set to return to the cage early next year for another fight, and he’ll be facing Michael ‘Venom’ Page, adding even more excitement to the division.
After hosting its first UFC event in June, the hype is real as Dana White’s promotion gears up to return with a Saudi Fight Night card on February 1. With fights like Ikram Aliskerov vs. Andre Muniz and Sergei Pavlovich vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik already set, the February 1 card is shaping up to be fire. Now, with Magomedov vs. MVP added to the lineup, this event promises to be an unmissable night of action.
After delivering an unforgettable performance against Armen Petrosyan with a jaw-dropping double-back fist knockout, Shara Magomedov now faces veteran ‘Venom.’ This matchup is shaping up to be his toughest test yet, and fans can’t wait to see how it plays out.
The British fighter also brings serious striking power to the table. However, after a phenomenal UFC debut, he stumbled in his last fight against Ian Garry. Now, he needs a big comeback against the Russian powerhouse to solidify his spot in the promotion.

There’s no doubt that high stakes make a fight even more thrilling for fans. When an undefeated record is on the line, the excitement hits a whole new level. While it’s not happening just yet, one future UFC bout promises that kind of drama. Undefeated star Bo Nickal recently declared he’s ready to face ‘Bullet’ confidently adding that he doesn’t see it as a tough fight.
Nickal didn’t hold back in his YouTube video, saying he’s ready to face Magomedov. Adding to that he is open to fighting in Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia, though he believes the UFC isn’t prioritizing the matchup right now. In his words, “It is not a tough fight, and I would have to go to Abu Dhabi. I would have to go to Saudi, which I would do it, but I think that not a tough fight. Also UFC probably doesn’t want that right now or maybe they would.”
