The UFC returns with a stellar card as it heads to Saudi Arabia for the first time. The main event was initially supposed to feature Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker. But Chimaev is out what many describe as a severe injury. The main event is headlined by Ikram Aliskerov, who challenges former champion Robert Whittaker at the UFC Saudi Arabia.
In this write-up, we look at some of the most exciting matchups of the main card.
UFC Saudi Arabia Preview and Predictions
Robert Whittaker is talking about the upcoming Ikram Aliskerov. Aliskerov has proven to be one of the most dangerous fighters in the cage. Ikram will be taking on a Whittaker who’s been in camp for a while now. Robert Whittaker will probably beat Ikram in the cage, as Aliskerov is not yet ranked. Aliskerov might have difficulty matching Robert’s pace in the cage as the man is much more experienced than him.
In the co-main event, Sergei Palovich might beat Alexander Volkov mainly because of the speed of his strikes in his game. Volkov is one of the biggest fighters in the cage size-wise and might want his reach to his advantage and not let Sergei get close. Folks would want to put their money on Sergei. Johnny Walker is the favorite in the fight against Volkan Oezdemir and will look to get back in the win column by a knockout. Kelvin Gastelum is the favorite against Daniel Rodriguez, as he’s much more versatile with his strikes and takedowns in the cage.
Mentioned below are the fighters that are scrapping inside the cage.
